Privacy Policy

Tedars ("Tedars") values your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it. For Turkish data subjects, the binding KVKK information notice is available here.

1. What We Collect

a) Customer admins using the dashboard

• Name, email, password (stored only as a bcrypt hash)
• Language preference, creation date
• Login IPs, browser user-agent, failed-login counters
• Audit records of dashboard actions

b) Visitors of sites where the customer embeds the widget

• Anonymous session id (sessionStorage; not persistent)
• IP address (transiently in Redis for rate limiting; not persisted)
• Token usage counters (counts, not content)

We do not collect: chat content from the widget is not stored. No tracking cookies, fingerprinting or ad-network integrations.

2. Why We Collect

• Deliver the service (accounts, AI responses, billing)
• Information security (abuse detection, rate limiting)
• Service quality (aggregate, anonymous metrics)
• Compliance with legal obligations

3. Cookies

We use only essential cookies (session, language). Details in our Cookie Policy.

4. Sharing

We share data with the following processors:

• Hetzner (Germany, EU): server hosting
• Resend: transactional email delivery
• OpenRouter: AI inference routing (open-weights Llama 3.1)
• Sentry (optional): error monitoring

Each provider operates under its own contractual confidentiality. We do not sell data for marketing.

5. Security

• HTTPS only; HSTS enabled.
• Passwords hashed with bcrypt (cost 12); never stored in plaintext.
• JWTs in HttpOnly, Secure cookies.
• Account lockout after 5 failed attempts for 15 minutes.
• Administrative actions recorded in an audit log.

7. Your Rights

To exercise your rights (access, correction, erasure, objection, portability), email kvkk@tedars.com.

8. Children

Tedars is not designed for people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

9. Changes

We notify you via the dashboard or email about material changes to this policy.
